Terms & Conditions

Reservations Check In:
  • Check in time: 3:00 p.m. (Effective Nov. 1, 2025)
  • Check out time: 12:00 p.m.
  • First night’s reservations can only be made with a debit or credit card.
  • Payment in full is required when you make your reservation.
  • Reservations are accepted up to 180 days in advance.
  • Maximum stay is 14 nights and guests may return after spending at least 3 nights out of the park.
  • There is a non-refundable $10.00 transaction fee.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to reserve a site. The registered guest is responsible for the activities of everyone at the site – sites may not be sublet.
  • Memorial Day, Fourth of July & Labor Day Weekend - three night minimum. All other holidays - two night minimum.
 
Reservations Cancellation Policy:
  • Only the person whose name is on the reservation may change or cancel a reservation.
  • Transaction fees are non-refundable – no exceptions.
  • If you cancel your reservation at least 3 days before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund less the reservation transaction fee.
  • If you cancel your reservation less than 3 days before your arrival date, you will still be charged the first night plus the reservation transaction fee and refunded the remainder. Please contact the RV Park Office to cancel if there are less than 3 days until your arrival date.
 
Late Arrivals and No Shows for Overnight Reservations:
  • Reservations will be held until 1:00pm on the day following your arrival date.
  • If you reserved multiple days and arrive at the park the day after your scheduled arrival date, but before 1 p.m., your reservation will be honored. However, you are still responsible for the previous night’s use fee. If you do not check in at the park by 1 p.m. the day after your scheduled arrival date, your reservation(s) will be cancelled, and you will be responsible for the first night’s use fee, reservation fee and any applicable transaction fees.
No early departure refunds are available. Fees and rules are subject to change. 

Rules & Information

The Port of Brookings Harbor has established rules and regulations to protect park areas for the enjoyment of future generations as well as for the convenience and safety of the park visitors. To ensure your visit is a pleasant one, please observe the following:
  • Natural Scenery, Plants and Wildlife. Are the principal attractions of most parks. They are integral parts of the ecosystem and natural community. As such they are protected by Federal, State and Park laws. Disturbance or destruction of these resources is strictly forbidden. Please be advised that we have wonderful wildlife residing around our park. Please be respectful and DO NOT FEED OR PET WILDLIFE. The Port of Brookings Harbor is not responsible under any circumstances for injuries caused by guests’ failure to obey park rules regarding wildlife.
  • RV Policy. Only RVs 20 years old or newer will be accepted. RVs are defined as either motor vehicles or tow-able trailers and are primarily intended for leisure activities such as vacations and camping. Recreational vehicle types include the motorhome (class A, B, B+, and C), travel trailer, fifth wheel trailer, toy hauler, popup trailer, and slide-in camper. The RV must be in good condition, with original parts. Windows must not be obscured, except for curtains or blinds.
  • RV Camp Site Types. There are four basic types of campsites: (1) Pull-thru Full Hookup – Picnic table, sewer, electricity and water; (2) Back-in Full Hookup – Picnic table, sewer, electricity and water; (3) Back-in Partial Hookups – Picnic table, fire pit, electricity and water; and (4) Dry Camping for fully contained RVs only – no utilities.
  • RV Camp Site. Only one RV and a maximum of one vehicle are allowed in your RV Camp Site. No tents or non-transparent gazebos may be placed within an RV camp site. No clothes lines or hanging clothes or ornament objects on vehicles or fences. Up to six guests may stay at a single camp site.
  • Parking. If you have an additional vehicle, and if the site allows additional vehicles, you must register and pay an additional nightly fee per vehicle when you arrive at the park. Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Blocking parking spaces is prohibited. If your site does not allow for additional parking, Beachfront RV Park Office will direct you were to park.
  • Trailers. Any additional trailers (boat, ATV, etc.) are not permitted in RV camp sites. Beachfront RV Park Office has limited trailer storage spaces available, a daily fee applies. The Port of Brookings Harbor can assist with recreational boat trailer parking. Trailer reservations can be made through the Port of Brookings Harbor kiosk located in the boat launch parking lot.
  • Quiet Hours. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Generators must be turned off at 10:00  p.m.
  • Pets. Pet owners must follow all applicable state and local laws and ordinances and, in addition, confine their pets to the guest’s RV space. All pets must accompany the guest when they leave Beachfront RV Park and at no time may be left unattended. Guests with vicious, dangerous or disruptive animal(s) will be removed from the park. Guests are required to immediately pick up after their pets. ​  
  • Internet. Internet is provided as a courtesy and is not guaranteed. Wifi password will be provided at RV Park Office or by the Campground Host on duty.
  • Garbage. There is no garbage collection service at each camp site. Guests are required to take their garbage to one of the designated containers located in the center of the park. A person may not remove items from containers designated for recyclables, garbage, sewage or waste without authorization of the park manager.
  • Showers. Showers can be accessed by code only and are coin operated. Code can be provided by Beachfront RV Park Office or Camp Host.
  • Fires. Fires are permitted only in facilities provided for this purpose. It is the responsibility of every visitor to use extreme caution with any burning materials, including tobacco. No explosives, fireworks or other substances that could cause harm are allowed in park or on the beach. Fire pits can be requested from Beachfront RV Park Office are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Wood can be purchased at RV Park Office or from the Campground Host on duty. Portable stoves may be used only in established campsites and picnic areas. Burn only paper products and untreated natural wood free of attached metal, nails, glass, or plastic objects. Burn wood no longer than 24 inches in length. Use no gasoline, diesel or any other petroleum-based products to start or maintain a fire.
  • Tobacco Use. Tobacco products must be kept in vehicles and personal camping units in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations governing smoking in vehicles, and in designated campsites in developed overnight camping areas.
  • Marijuana Use. It is unlawful to use marijuana or marijuana items in the park. More information on recreational marijuana in Oregon can be found at whatslegaloregon.com.
  • Drones. Port of Brookings Harbor prohibits anyone from flying a drone in the park or on Port properties without written permission.
  • Beach & Jetty Areas. Jetties were constructed to aid ship traveling between river and the ocean and were never intended to be used for recreational purposes. Guests assume all risk when visiting the beach and jetty areas. Please be alert at all times and watch out for sneaker waves.
  • Liability. All facilities are used at your own risk. Our equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of our registered guests. All persons using such do so at their own risk. The Port of Brookings Harbor is not responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property due to fire, theft, wind or acts of God. The Port of Brookings reserves the right to make site changes and the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to abide by park rules and regulations.
  • Restrictions. The park manager may temporarily restrict or prohibit fires, access to the beach, or other activities in otherwise allowed situations due to high fire hazard, high tide warning or other hazard conditions, and all persons shall observe such restrictions. Additional rules or notices may be provided at check-in.
  • Office Hours. Office hours are 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, seven days a week. Camp host site number and contact information will be provided on the office door each night.
  • Emergencies call 9-1-1. For afterhours maintenance emergencies, number will be posted on office door or contact camp host.

Frequently Asked Questions

​I need to revise or cancel my reservation.  Can I do that online?
  • On the confirmation email you received when you booked there is a link to your Guest Portal.  Through that portal you can request date changes, site changes or cancel your reservation.  Or you can call the office (541) 469-5867
 How soon can I expect to receive my refund?
  • Please allow up to 30 days to receive any refunds.
 How far out can I reserve a site?
  • Our reservation system only goes out 180 days. Even if the first day is available it will only allow those days that are within 180 days. If it is further out than 180 days you cannot book it.  We suggest that you book your reservation when ALL of the dates are available.
 Can I keep my boat/atv/car/cargo trailer in my site?
  • We do not allow any additional trailers in the sites.  Car dollies are the exception if you can tuck it under your RV. If you have a boat, ATV or cargo trailer you can park it in storage for a $10 daily fee.  Boat trailer storage is located in the secured storage behind the Port of Brookings Harbor workshop.  All other trailers will be stored in our dry camp area.  Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Trailer storage payment will be due upon check in.  Storage is very limited and a first come, first serve basis.
 What if my RV is over the age limit?
  • If your RV is older than 20 years, please email us 4 pictures (one of each side) mail to: [email protected]. Once it has been approved we will contact you with instructions.
 Do you do long term rentals?
  • We have a two week maximum stay.  At the end of your two weeks you must vacate the park entirely for three days and then you can come back for two more weeks.
Do you allow tents in the RV sites?
  • We do not allow any tents in any of the sites.  This includes Rooftop Tents and Truck Bed Tents.
Do you allow dogs in the park?
  • We just ask that they are kept on a leash anytime outside of the RV, cleaned up after and not left in the RV or at the site unattended.
 Can I sleep in my car/truck/van?
  • No.  In order to stay with us you need to have an RV.  Either a class A, B, B+, or C, travel trailer, fifth wheel trailer, toy hauler, popup trailer, and slide-in camper. Vans must be converted with installed electrical and water hookups.
 Can I bring an extra vehicle?
  • Yes, however, there is a fee of $7 per night, per extra vehicle. Per our Rules and Regulations, you are allowed one vehicle with your RV. If you have an additional vehicle, and if the site allows additional vehicles, you must register and pay an additional nightly fee per vehicle when you arrive at the park.  Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Blocking parking spaces is prohibited. If your site does not allow for additional parking, Beachfront RV Park Office will direct you where to park. 
 Do you have a dump station?
  • No but there is a rest area approximately 5 miles, across Highway 101 from Harris Beach State Park.
 Do you have showers?
  • They are only accessed by a code and are coin operated showers, $0.50 cents to start and last a couple of minutes. Every quarter after is another 90 seconds. You can ask the office or Park Host for the code or quarters.  We do ask that you not give it out the code to anyone if they ask.
 Can I fill up my water tank at the park if I am staying in Dry Camping?
  • Unfortunately, there is no water station here at the park.  You will need to fill your tanks before your arrival.
 Can I have a fire at my site?
  • Yes. Sites do not have a designated fire pit spot but we do have portable fire pits available to you at no cost. You are permitted to bring your own firepit.  Please do not make a fire pit out of rocks.  We do ask that you not burn any glass, plastic or metal items in the pit. We do sell wood for $7.00 per bundle, you can pre-purchase wood when you book your reservation, or you can purchase it at the office or from the park host. You are welcome to bring your own wood, we just ask that you only bring untreated natural wood free of attached metal or nails. 
Do you have Good Sam, Military or AAA discounts?
  • Unfortunately, we do not, but there is a discount for booking a week.
Do you have sites with 50-amp electrical service?
  • Yes, all pull throughs have 50-amp. Along with back in sites: 1-38, 48, 49, 50, 51, & 52.
 How long are your sites?
  • All of our site lengths vary. If you put in your RV information when booking, it will populate a list of sites available that will accommodate your RV.
How wide are your sites?
  • The full hookup sites average 22.6’.  The partial hookup sites are going to be much narrower.
Can I receive mail or packages at the Park?
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept any packages and there is no USPS mail service.  There is a mail service, Boardwalk Mail, located a mile from the park.
 Can we store our RV there?
  • No, we cannot store RVs here.  We need to have someone with the RV in case of an emergency.
 What credit cards do you accept?
  • We accept all major credit cards.
 Can I wash my RV and/or vehicle in the park?
  • No, we don't allow any washing here at the park but there is a car wash in town that accommodates big RVs and vehicles.
 If I have booked multiple sites and my guest cancels, can I use that site for anything other than having an RV in it?
  • Unfortunately, no.  If your guest is not able to make it you do need to cancel that site.  Sites are for RV rental only and cannot be rented for additional parking of cars, party set ups or anything of that sort.  If there is not going to be an RV in the site then it must be canceled.
 What if I don't cancel the site?
  • If you do not cancel the site and we see the next day that there is no RV in the site we will consider it a no show and it will be canceled and any money paid will not be refunded.
 What if I am having a maintenance emergency in my site?
  • We will always have an emergency maintenance phone number up in the office window after 5pm.  You can call that number, and someone will assist you with whatever the issue is.
